From March 2006 through June 2006, I managed five (5) Bimbo Bakery mid-range server projects in the EDS Plano Service Management Center (SMC).

July 2003 to March 2006, I served as a Project Manager on the EDS Bank of America account.  I was responsible for migrating traffic from IDNX, NORTEL Passport and Stratacom equipment to Cisco 3745 Multi Function Routers.  EDS and Bank of America expanded the Heritage Project to include the merger of the Fleet Network which Bank of America acquired.

From April 2002 through June 2003, I served as the Voice Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the EDS Navy Marine Corps Intranet contract.  I was responsible for developing plans for converting the Navy and Marine Corps existing systems to a NMCI solution.  Responsibilities included, but were not limited to:

1        developing voice architecture via IP network using existing voice equipment (Avaya, Cisco and Nortel Networks).  I evaluated pure VoIP solutions and voice through traditional PBX systems with IP trunking.  I also evaluated the interoperability and limitations of the VoIP systems and solutions.

2        developing alternate voice architecture using existing voice equipment (Avaya, Cisco and Nortel Networks) using traditional voice solutions.

3        developing voice implementation strategy and monitoring implementation to ensure results meet contractual requirements.  I coordinated with engineers, contracting and legal departments so EDS could provide voice services per NMCI contract.

4        evaluating and testing voice equipment (Avaya, Cisco and Nortel Networks) in the San Diego lab.  I performed interoperability testing between the three systems.  The testing included switching hardware and end user devices.

5        assist contracting office evaluate Navy locations (Washington Navy Yard) CLIN 29 (legacy equipment) proposal.  The evaluations included perform site reviews, equipment reviews, software load status and end user device performance.

6        evaluating and testing video equipment in San Diego lab.  I tested and evaluated Video over IP suite systems, small video room applications and desktop units.

From June 1999 to October 2001 I was Lead for the EDS Network Installation Team (NIT) that supported the National Guard Bureau’s (NGB) Distance Learning project.   I coordinated with various EDS groups and Local and Long Distance telecommunications vendors to insure that connectivity was available for Distance Learning Classrooms as they were installed and made operational.  During this period, I was also a part of the NGB Voice Integration Plans Team, I assisted NGB in developing and implementing voice plans and data integration; performed site surveys and developed Statements of Requirements (SOR) so NGB could upgrade, replace and enhance their voice and data network nationwide and coordinated with the NGB wide area network (WAN) contractor to establish the best method to integrate the voice onto the State National Guards’ WAN.

I served AMSTAR Communications as the Pacific Region Manager and was directly responsible for AMSTAR Pacific Rim operations to include Hawaii, Guam and Saipan.  The position required defining, establishing and coordinating large telecommunications projects with high-level management in both commercial companies and government organizations.

While with GSA, both Regions 7 and 9, I was responsible for performing essential managerial functions to ensure satisfactory telecommunications service to GSA customers.  I managed the conversion of numerous GSA systems throughout the five-state Region 7 area (Arkansas, Louisiana, New Mexico, Oklahoma, and Texas) during the implementation of FTS2000 by interfacing with GSA customers to resolve problems relating to local, long distance, and international service.
